Check-In Policy

Policies Include:

• The maximum number of extra beds in a room is 1 (Extra bed only available for Deluxe Room Type)

• 1 child is allowed per room

• Ages 0-6 sharing the bed 5 EUR/night

• Ages 0-16 with Baby Cot or Extra Bed 10 EUR/ night

• Ages 16- adult with extra bed 20 EUR/ night

Staying Late

You may request a late check out and it will be accepted upon availability until 2pm. If you would like to keep your room until 6 pm (if available) a half day fee will apply. After 6 pm full day fee will be charged.

Your Reservation

Upon completion of your booking, you will receive an email containing your confirmation details. Please bring this confirmation with you when you check in together with the payment card that you paid with as proof of identification. If you have booked a room in your name but you do not plan to stay, please advise us of the name of the occupant as soon as possible.


Subject to availability, changes to the travel dates of a pre-paid booking can be made by submitting a request by email or calling the hotel directly. Please be aware that a change in your reservation may also display a price difference due to a change in the exchange rate. Less than two days before your arrival, changes can only be made directly with the hotel by calling the reservations at (+90)212 526 8383. The change will be subject to availability.

Cancellations and Non-arrivals

All pre-paid bookings stated as non-refundable are not refundable. Unfortunately, in these cases cancelling a booking, not arriving for a booked stay, or the hotel’s denial of check-in to a person who is not accompanied by the person whose name is on the booking, will not result in a refund.
Reservations made with a corporate account must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card at time of booking. Once your reservation is confirmed, it may be cancelled free of charge up to seven days prior to your arrival. After that, the cancellation policy displayed during your specific time of booking will take effect. There is a 7 day cancellation policy on all packages. If a reservation is cancelled within the 7 day time frame, a penalty of 50% of the package price will be applied.


Credit cards may be pre-authorized when you complete a booking. This guarantees us that the funds are available to pay for your room or for any charges incurred after your arrival. The pre-authorized amount depends on the length of your stay and size of the booking.


We reserve the right to charge your credit card for damages in your room during your stay or for items that are missing when you leave.

Smoking Policy

Barbera Hotel is smoke-free. You are permitted to smoke in the outdoor areas of Tazé Tapas Restaurant only.
Should it be brought to our attention that smoking has taken place in the rooms, a cleaning fee of 200 EUR will be charged.

We will not share any of our customers personal information or data with outside businesses or sources. The information we collect will be used strictly for the hotels systems and for the city of Istanbul's requirements. Our website is securely encrypted and updated regularly to follow regulations regarding security for your online bookings to be 100% safe.
